#4weselapokwarantannie
It all started with two crazy women from wedding industry began to be bored in quarantine … They did a one wedding session… than another one … bonfire …. and started dreaming!
Ania Żukowska – mother of Stodola Czereśniowy Sad, who had been a PR / marketing manager and Marta Trojanowska – designer “The Boho Dresses (Suknieboho)”, sat by the fire behind the barn at a time when the wedding industry froze for a few months and set a plan to do another wedding session … but totally different than usual.
“We wanted to do a wedding session that would be alive! In which there will be emotions! In which each artist will be able to express himself, with real food on the tables, with young couple that won’t pose alone, and the camera man won’t work according to stylist’s guidelines … “
Anna said: “Lets make a wedding! A real wedding! I’ll put a dress, everyone will bring anything he or she is good at, we will record it, take pictures. That would be great! ”
“Cool!” – Marta thought, but one wedding would be too simple, so … they did four weddings! At the same time!
What? Each one totally different from the other!
When? In 10 days!
Can we do it? Sure!
Here is foretaste of the wedding session 🙂
Backstage photographer: Magdalena Kimak (@magdalenakimak_weddings)
Who / what do we need?
- 4 filmmakers
- 4 photographers
- 4 young couples
- 4 florists
- 4 makeup artists
- 4 hairdressers
- stationery
- wedding rings
- men’s jewelry
- women’s jewelry
- wedding dresses
- suits
- guest clothes
- plates
- cutlery
- chairs
- decoration
- catering
- cake
- transportation
- DJ
- lighting
- prosecco van
- photographer for backstage
- manicure for brides …
The list was getting longer, and longer, and the time was running incredibly fast – especially since while organizing the weddings, they both normally worked from morning to evening and ran homes! They are also not wedding planners and have no knowledge of almost any of these segments of the industry … and certainly no knowledge how to organize four weddings!!!
Why they did it?
First of all, to show that it is possible!
Secondly, that it can be done really well!!! As beautiful as on Pinterest, original, with character, classy, with taste but also with a sense of humor!
But probably above all, they wanted to show that if you trust specialists, miracles happen…
Slow wedding
Does the wedding always have to be done with splendor? What if someone prefers the closeness of nature and barefoot dances in the company of loved ones? What if instead of a satin corset she would like a zero-waste cotton wedding dress, and instead of a polyester suit, linen pants and a shirt? The perfect solution is an outdoor wedding! A table in the shade of trees, flowers straight from the meadow, grass instead of a dance floor … This stylization will make you not only feel comfortable, at ease and close to nature but also looking at photos in 20 years you will smile, because such a wedding is absolutely timeless!

And now about the weddings’ miracles
By now probably many brides are grabbing their heads and thinking, “Oh mother! I need to talk to the florist and decide what flowers I want in the bouquet! What will the garland look like! What flower arrangement will be on the tables! I need to decide on the stationery, which fonts to use! Where to add gold and where silver! I need to decide what shades of beige will appear on the cake to suit the groom’s handkerchief! I forgot about groom’s pins! They have to match my nails! I have to talk to the hairdresser, because my hair clips must also match!!!! ….. “etc. etc.
Wouldn’t it be great if you were only to send few photos to your team – i.e. theme that shows the atmosphere of the wedding?
What if you would choose a filmmaker, photographer, make-up artist or florist based on the climate of their work without actually changing their vision? Just let them do their job as best they can – without any hints besides this theme.
It took less than an hour for Marta and Ania to find inspiration on Pinterest for 4 different weddings:
glamour
boho
slow wedding
modern gothic
Once they knew what they wanted, they started looking for young couples who would feel comfortable in front of the lens and, above all, would be crazy enough to take part in their project with 50 other, strangers?
To this day, it is not known whether it is their gift of persuasion or a brilliant idea, but each of these people agreed with no hesitation: D no one asked about the money … instead there were questions about “who will be my husband?” ; D
And so, Ania Skura (known for WhatAnnaWears, the owner of TheNusaStore) and Piotr Sałata (stylist and owner of Thecadess clothing brand) became a pair of GLAMOR, who saw each other for the first time in their lives!
A couple of BOHO – Marta Wojtal (a brilliant photographer, spontaneously placed on the other side of the lens!) and her partner Michał Wichowski (projektmiłość.pl <3)
A couple in the SLOW WEDDING – they were Anna-Maria “Ama” Sieklucka – the actress who became famous in the film “365 days” – and her film (but not life) partner – Otar Saralidze.
For the role of the MODERN GOTHIK pair, the girls were looking for … male-male couple! Just because in it is a taboo in Poland! As a result, Jacek Szawioła (Googlebox presenter) and his friend Kamil Nowelli became dark grooms.
Modern Gothic wedding
Close your eyes and imagine people in love looking deeply into each other’s eyes and saying “YES” in a trembling voice. Shaking hands while putting the ring on the finger. Hear their voices expressing the vow of undying love, loyalty and honesty.
Now imagine that these people are men … In Poland you will not see such picture for a long time, and we wanted to show that it would be just as beautiful, touching and important for these people – regardless of gender … “modern gothic” style to give the event even more seriousness. The prevailing black, strong red floral accents, large jewelry, expressive accessories, and all this softened with barn wood planks. Beautifully right?

And the other things….
The other things were simultaneously, chaotically, spontaneously!!! All participants wrote to all friends and strangers from Instagram, whose style suited the concept of the table. Those who had a free date agreed immediately when they heard … they got a theme, and guidelines how to achieve such theme, but how to do it, depended only on them!
Did everything go smoothly? Of course, there were situations when someone had to resign from participation overnight due to health or their work. Fortunately, there are many great professionals in our country and we quickly found a worthy replacement!
When the monstrous table of project participants along with their tasks for individual tables was already full, everyone got their themes (mostly 4 days before the wedding !!!).
Florists also became the main stylists of the tables, responsible for the selection of plates, cutlery, decorations.
Two stylists – Marta Waluk and Piotr Sałata in cooperation with Karina Sobis (E-garderobe) were responsible for the clothes for guests (and they got the guest list 2 days before the wedding!)
Marta Trojanowska sewed 3 tailored wedding dresses in 3 days (but this is the norm in her studio).
Photographers and video crews got – as green as spring grass – light in terms of the length of films, type of frames, colors … full freedom, as they feel!
AND…
It happened!
On May 29, 2020, over 70 to 90% strangers met in the Czereśniowy Sad Barn near Warsaw. It included even the specialists from Poznań and Kraków!
Everywhere in the cherry garden everyone was working as a bee… there was creative chaos, but a everything was agreed so you could feel it in the air …
Perfect temperature, blue sky, joy of action after quarantine, smiles on the faces and an amazing desire to create something beautiful!!!
Each participant got a badge with their data and function in the color of their table. Each of the accommodation rooms has been assigned a different style. In each of the room a young couple was preparing – Anna with Piotr, Marta with Michał, Ama with Otar and Jacek with Kamil. The rest of the participants worked on tables, setting decorations, flowers, food, hanging lights, Emerald Proseccovan and performing dozens, hundreds of other tasks. And there was the music that gave us the rhythm to work – an outdoor DJ !!!
When the tables, barn and everything else looked perfect, Vogue Brides would not be ashamed of it, the working bees started performing their duties and by put themselves in the hands of great make-up artists, hairdressers and stylists. It didn’t take long, everyone became … models, actors, guests, stars, HEROES!
Glamour wedding
Glamour wedding can only be in palace? Nothing more wrong! The climate is created by accessories, flowers, light, colors, not just a place. In the barn you can also feel like a princess (of course the princess is naughty in our edition!);) Golden cutlery, pink flowers, candles, a snow white and the groom in a black suit – all this seems to be quite cool and pathetic but thanks to natural light coming through the cracks of the barn boards, the whole stylization becomes warmer, romantic, but still elegant! Don’t be afraid of unusual combinations!

And then, just before sunset, at the so-called ‘golden hour’ it all began – great, several hours of shooting and filming, singing, dancing, raising toasts, spontaneous dances on the tables, cutting cakes – just a gigantic wedding party! Times 4!
Everyone was at work, but after weeks of confinement at home, limiting the joyful creation and lack of contact with other people, they felt like they were brought back to life, empathizing perfectly with the role of party people (with disinfectants in the background;))
After finishing the work … wait, it wasn’t a work – it was painting a beautiful picture that everyone will remember for a long time! tired participants went home, and Marta, Ania and the other crew members stayed overnight, sat by the fire and smiled at each other …
We did it!!!
4 weddings, 4 teams, over 70 people involved, hundreds of small works of art, dozens of amazing minutes …
It all happened in 10 days with the weddings just in 8 hours!!!
Why we are giving you so many details?
First of all – because it is worthwhile, what happened will not happen again … service providers who have forgotten that they are competitors, who created art together, now they recommend each other! Hope there will more people like that … <3
Secondly, to show you that even if you learn two weeks ago that you have to organize your dream wedding, but the deadline is in a month! you can do it! Just trust the specialists! Do not focus on meaningless font details on the invitation, which guests will throw into the trash bin as soon as they read the content or the color of the tablecloth, that soon will have noodles from the mythical wedding soup on.
Look for service providers who feel just like you and just send them your vision … and the rest? Let it happen alone! You will save yourself a lot of time and energy, and, in the end, you will be amazingly surprised! This is YOUR day and you should not be sleepy, you should be smiling and in love, not tired of organizing a “perfect” wedding for half a year (and some even 2 years?), and finally disappointed in the “perfect” shade of roses in vases … Enjoy this day! Enjoy the fact that you have each other and the opportunity to organize such an event for your loved ones. You also have great specialists in Poland who have been presented in detail here. Thanks to them, but also to many others, you can embrace a wedding in 10 days! (and maybe less since Marta and Ania managed to grasp 4 at that time? ?)
PS. during the bonfire after the session Marta, knowing that Ania and Grzegorz, her husband, did not have their own wedding, threw “So now, your wedding in two weeks”?? Now Ania is wondering if going to the barn to mow the grass, she will not become the next hero “wedding, where the Bride learned about mowing grass in her jumpsuit”: D
Boho wedding
The boho style has become part of wedding fashion for good. No wonder – when we think of a boho-style wedding words like freedom, loose, tousled hair, sandals, soft, comfortable wedding dress and natural fabrics come immediately … If you party until the morning, that’s how it is! A wedding in the boho style in our edition is the quintessence of this style – pampas grass, dream catchers, macramé, teepee, cotton dress with huge sleeves, groom in a hat, bridesmaids dressed in earthy colors and the setting sun in the background … it can’t be better ! <3
